We meet at the Knob Hill Community Center, Knob Hill and Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach, CA. The Beginners Q&A session begins at 6:30 and the main meeting at 7:30. The main presentation is below:

Other Monthly Events of Interest

The Core Group meets the first Saturday of each month to help plan our club's direction and activities. Come and help plan. No experience needed. The location varies, but it's announced at our meetings and on our E-group.

Last Sat, 7-11:30 a.m. - TRW (Northrop-Grumman) Ham Radio & Computer Swap Meet at the SE corner of Marine and Aviation Blvd. in Redondo Beach - Free parking and admittance.

Other Friendly Macintosh User Groups in the "neighborhood"

  • MacHACers (Hughes, Raytheon, Boeing & DirecTV Macintosh User Group) - They are mostly a groups.yahoo.com MUG but occasionally meet from 6-8 PM in the Community Room of the Manhattan Village Shopping Center. The venue and dates can change so check their web site, www.macHACers.org.

  • WOCMUG (West Orange County Mac User Group) - meets last Tuesdays at 7:00 PM
    Long Beach Graphics Group, affiliated with WOCMUG, meets 1st Thursdays at 7:00 PM
    Both meet at Emerson Academy, 2625 Josie Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90815

  • WebSpinners (not a Mac group, but Mac Friendly) discuss Internet topics. Meetings are usually the 1st Saturday. See their monthly announcements for details, directions & topics. Even difficult topics are presented for beginners and intermediates.

  • Los Angeles Palm/Portable Users Group (Not a Mac group, but Mac Friendly) Meetings are second Mondays at 7:00 PM at Ground Zero Advertising in Marina del Rey. Check their web site for directions and meeting dates/times.
