The core group decided to try this earlier time since we don’t seem to get enough questions as of late, to fill the 45 minute beginners time slot. We will try this new time slot for the main meeting.
The three videos are: 1) Image Playground, new Apple AI feature, 2) Using your iPhone on travel tips, and 3) 10 strange things your Mac may do. These are things like you Mac running slow, weird page rendering on internet page, no sound, etc.

7:45PM On Wednesday, March 26th 2025, there will be a meeting with Jim Pernal on the new Apple hardware introduced in February and March 2025.
We will discuss the new iPhone 16E, new base model iPad with A16, new M3 iPad air, new M4 MacBook air, and the New Mac studio. The mac studio is available with either the M4 chip or the even more powerful and new M3 Ultra chip.
The iPhone 16E is a departure from the previous iPhone SE line. The base new iPad is lacking a key apple selling point, The new mac studio has a surprising top the the line processor that is not the M4.
Note the core group has decided to move the start time to 7:00 PM for the Beginners group and 7:45 for the main meeting to see if this will help attendance, and folks showing up late.

7:45PM On Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, there will be a meeting with Jim Pernal on Mac OS Sequoia
We will discuss the latest Mac Operating System Sequoia (15.x) Presentation will include the requirements for using this system, how to upgrade, why you should upgrade, and finally a few of the new features in the system with some demos. Will discuss the AI (Apple Intelligence) , Safari 18 changes, Password and iPhone mirroring apps. Other items like the new Window tiling feartures, improved Calculator, notes will be covered.

7:45PM On Wednesday, September 25th 2024, there will be a meeting with Jim Pernal of the SBAMUG with a presentation on the product announcements from the October Apple press releases and/or October event.
Apple did announce a new iPad Mini via an October 15th press release. This will be covered along with any new devices announced by Apple up to the day of the meeting. This will likely be new Mac computers. As a fallback we will show videos following the presentation.

7:30PM On Wednesday, September 25th 2024, there will be a meeting with Phil Goodman of the LAPUG with a presentation on the product announcements from the 9/9/2024 Apple presentation.
Apple did introduce new Watches, AirPods, and iPhones. They also discussed the release of IOS 18, and Mac OS 15 Sequoia. There was discussion of Apple Intelligence also

7:45PM On Wednesday, June 31st, 2024, there will be a meeting with Jim Pernal, President of the SBAMUG with a presentation on the iPhone/iPad drawing Apps (Artistic painting)
The July presentation by Jim Pernal will feature three videos about drawing (Artistic Painting ) Apps for the iPhone and iPad.
The three videos will include an initial video taking you through a start to completion of drawing an eagle on the iPad. The second video will discuss a number of applications for the iPhone and iPad. I created a table to document the apps, what devices they run on, costs, and IOS/iPad system requirements. The final video shows drawing on a iPhone.
